SESSION TIMES
WHICH SESSION IS RIGHT FOR ME?

The Head Coach will advise which sessions are appropriate for each swimmer. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our main club nights and every club swimmer is expected to regularly attend on at least one of these nights. Swimmers will usually start off in Session 1 and as they improve move into Session 2. Session 1 will typically consist of swimmers aged 6-9yrs and session 2 will typically consist of swimmers aged 10-13yrs. The master session of for adults and young people typically 13yrs+.

WHAT ARE THE CLUB FEES?

Swimmers standard fee - £25 a month

Masters Swimmers - £21 a month

The club prefers membership fees to be paid by direct debit however this is not a requirement. Alternative arrangements would need to be made in consultation with the committee.

In addition to club fees each swimmer is required to pay a one off annual fee to the ASA who are the national governing body for swimming in England.

Annual Fees / ASA Membership

Joining the ASA makes you part of a well-regulated governing body that is always developing initiatives to forward the sport and is dedicated to allowing all our members to achieve their full potential.

Because full membership is only available via an affiliated club or affiliated body, you will benefit from a club structure offering advice and guidance on a range of issues and a club using ASA qualified teachers and coaches. All members receive insurance cover which includes Civil Liability, Personal Accident and Legal Advice. Members of the ASA also benefit from preferential rates from a number of companies.

Membership is split into three categories

Category 1: £21.20 (training only)

Category 2: £38.25 (competition)

Category 3: £5 (non swimmers, i.e. coaches)

These fees currently carry a club admin fee of £5. Please consider that if you wish your swimmer to compete in either club microleague fixtures or compete in local galas supported by the club then they would be required to pay Category 2 fees.
